Dresden

May 24, 2018August 31, 2019 By Scott

Dresden is the second largest city on the River Elbe after Hamburg in the state of Saxony. The city centre was heavily bombed and essentially destroyed in February 1945. The city still bears many wounds from the bombing raids of 1945, but it has undergone significant reconstruction. Dresden has some 13 000 listed cultural monuments and eight districts under general preservation orders.

We stayed right in the centre of town staying opposite Dresden Frauenkirche which is a stunning Lutheran church.

Oscar loving the view.
I can see you!
