Innsbruck

April 1, 2018May 10, 2018 By Scott

On our way to Berlin, we thought we include a taste of Austria and include Innsbruck and Salzburg. Innsbruck is a picturesque ski resort and University town. We selected Adlers Hotel due to the proximity to the train station and awesome views of the alps. Oscar had his first taste of snow but wasn’t overly impressed. Enjoy the photos.

180 degree views of the Alps and very comfy beds for dogs
Sometimes a reluctant photo poser
Cool bar and restaurant on the top floor

Fun in the snow

Innsbruck is an internationally renowned winter sports centre, and hosted the 1964 and 1976 Winter Olympics as well as the 1984 and 1988 Winter Paralympics. The ski fields are the closest to a major city. We didn’t go skiing but we took the cable car up to the snow.

We love it, not sure about Oscar
Oscar not convinced
A long way up
Fun in the snow
A tad cold
Not a good look
I need a beer after a stressful day in the snow says Oscar
Make that two beers
On our way back to the hotel

What a pretty town, next stop Salzburg.
