Accommodation
We were able to negotiate a great 3 bedroom apartment that is walking distance to The Suquet and Old Port. The apartment is on the top floor (third) with plenty of skylights which bathes the apartment with sunshine. It also included a garage for the car which was a bonus. All restaurants and the waterfront is only 10 minute walk away.
Urban Trail Race
This race, as the name suggests, mixes running through the city of Cannes plus hitting the trails. Scott entered the 26km race and Adele the 8km.
This race covers the areas: Palais des Festivals | Mairie de Cannes | Notre Dame de l’Espérance | Escalier Continental | Cimetière des Brousailles | Vues des Iles de Lerins |Vue sur le Massif de l’Esterel | Croix des Gardes | Bord de Mer .

Oscar
Oscar desperately needed a haircut but many of the dog groomers were booked out for weeks but luckily we found one before we left Cannes and Oscar met his doppelganger

Wine to eat food too
Cannes has many great restaurants as you would expect but this one was one of our favourites, Au Pot de Vin. You come into the restaurant and view the menu of the day. Then, you go next door to the wine cellar and choose your wine. This is the most extraordinary cellar, with wines ranging from 20 euro to several thousand euros. Mark up for the restaurant is roughly 25 per cent, as opposed to the 300 percent that you get in most restaurants.

Next stop
