Accommodation
We selected this accommodation through HomeAway (similar to AirBnB). Location is close to downtown Bordeaux, has parking plus a lovely rooftop for wine and cheese.

Exploring the vineyards
Who better to explore the vineyards than with Wen Wong. Alcohol specialist, from wine to whisky. Just half an hour away from the city of Bordeaux is Saint-Emilion and it’s even more beautiful than Bordeaux and much smaller. We finally found a parking spot and explored this quaint town popping into shops and even wineries collection. Saint-Emilion is known for its Grand Cru wine and it’s actually one of Bordeaux’s largest winemaking appellations.

Taste testing on the terrace
We decided to go back to our terrace and taste test these wines with some local cheese and jarmon. We loved the wine and Oscar loved the jarmon and the cuddles from Wen.
BFFs now
Adele vs Chronopost France and Hong Kong Post
(Adele to provide text).

Scott vs Orange France
In a bid to get a SIM card and mobile wifi, Orange France was recommended by a number of travel blogs as the best to use in France and throughout Europe. Scott was able to get a sim card but unsuccessful in getting a mobile wifi device with SIM. Nil all draw. I will try again in San Sebastian.
Oscar’s view
Love French jamon and the accommodation but not so keen on the steep stairs inside. Next stop San Sebastian, Spain.
